David Botana and Locksley await their results.
Banixx is proud to have been a major financial contributor and passionate sponsor in the production of the moving documentary ParaGold that will be in distribution through multiple entertainment platforms later this year. The documentary is directed and produced by Ron Davis. It follows the lives of Roxy Trunnell, Rebecca Hart, David Botana, and Sydney Collier. The story entails four Paralympic equestrian athletes, in their journey to qualify for a coveted spot on the 2020 U.S. Paralympic Dressage Team for the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
Para Dressage, a regular event since 1996, is the only Equestrian discipline included in the Paralympic Games. These incredible equestrians compete in the sport of Dressage under the same basic rules as Olympic level Dressage, but with para-athletes. Moreover, they are classified according to the level of their disability. The sport of Dressage expresses the highest level of training for athletes and horses alike, wherein the horse performs at a walk, trot and canter. The tests follow a defined pattern of precise movement ridden from memory. Join us as we eagerly await the exciting release of this incredible docutainment!

Epilog: Roxy Trunnel and Rebeca Hart made the 2020 U.S. Paralympic Dressage Team, along with their respective horses “Dolton” and El Corona “Tea.” Together, with the other members of the team, Beatrice DeLavalette and “Clare,” and Kate Shoemaker and Solitaer 40 “Soli,” these para-equestrians proudly returned home as Team Bronze! The athletes were led by Michael Assouline, Chef d’Equipe and Technical Advisor, and Laureen Johnson, Team Leader. Congratulations for a job well done!
