In separate tests, one to ten million bacterial organisms of Salmonella choleraesuis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus were added to Banixx and results were tested at 0, 1, 3, 5, and 10 minutes later. All tests were run in triplicate. The results are presented below as kill-curves; that is, they illustrate the reduction of organisms over time of exposure. In all tests, the bacterial organisims were "killed", or reduced, to below the detection limit of 1 cfu per mL within ten minutes. The data is presented below.

In separate tests, 500,000 to one million of Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger spores were added to Banixx and results were tested at 1, 2, 5, and 10 minutes later. All tests were run in triplicate. The results are presented below as kill-curves; that is, they illustrate the reduction of organisms over time of exposure. Candida albicans was reduced by about 99% and Aspergillus niger spores were reduced by <95% within 10 minutes. The data is presented below.
